    Hello newest skincare routine of Fall 2021. Climate change in Canada = get that heating on indoors. For someone with oily skin, I love my skin when the weather gets colder. It perfectly dries out my skin and I’m not as shiny as I am the rest of the year.

    Despite all that, Glow Receipe sent over their faves and I AM OBSESSED. Their blueberry face wash is definitely my favourite. Not only does it smell delicious – it’s also the perfect face wash for my skin. Their watermelon glow face mask is obviously very popular for very good reason! It’s also a must try!

    Fall is the perfect time for comfort items. The weather is changing, the seasons are clearly different with the leaves and the temps dropping. Sometimes all you want to do is stay home and treat yourself to moments of self care.

    Being in the midst of that time of year, where the kids are back to school and we are enjoying the comforts of early nights with a cooler climate, I have two must haves in my home that I can’t get by without.

    The Caker Cake mixes have become a staple around here. Decadent pan cakes at your fingertips! Shown here are three different flavours: 1.Match Cherry 2.Flourless Dark Chocolate Gold Leaf 3.Lemon Strawberry Poppy Seed. I know exactly what you were thinking when you were reading that. “These are not your typical cake flavours – and you’re right. The kits include everything you need and they offer vegan options!

    As it gets colder, also very important to feed your immunity (Especially with all the kids that are back to school and bringing home all kinds of sicknesses). Being on top of my supplements is always important in my daily life. Orange Naturals is my go to brand for all things supplement.

    Final Fall Look for 2021

    2021 was a fast year. I still remember ringing the new year in and to think that it ended just as fast as it came is insane. Shows how fast life is passing us by and to slow down and really enjoy what it has to offer.

    In the midst of all my travels, I had a chance to fit in a shoot with Leayen to capture an outfit that is the essence of Fall 2021. The temperatures are mild and light allowing for style flexibility until I have to bust out the heavy jackets.

    A statement pair of boots (Also the most comfy ever) with a statement purse (DEFO my fave bag of 2021) matched with a vest sweater, top hat and a white collar long button up shirt is great for an everyday fit or something you rock to dinner with your girls on a night out.

    I really want an occasion to wear this shiny, metallic blazer and haven’t had the perfect opportunity as of yet but I know with the Holidays around the corner, I will find an event. It is literally the perfect fit to make it in to a blazer dress. You can also wear it with a pair of trousers and jeans, and it will work well!

  • Minnie Me and Mommy

    Minnie Me and Mommy

    Raaya is going to be 5 in a few months and I’m so proud of the girl she is becoming mashAllah. I know we all say that about our kids, but she really is super exceptional. Given her circumstances of being between two homes since she was 13 months, this little trooper does so well with adjustment and rolling with the punches. I can put her in any environment and trust that she will be well behaved and composed. I’m a little strict on her (something I have to work on) but she really impressed me with how she has dealt with the changes that came with the pandemic.

    She has some big changes coming her way with a new school enrollment and I’m praying for the best! I have no doubt that she will surprise me and handle it all beautifully, inshAllah!

    All Black Erythangggg…

    You can never go wrong with all black. It’s timeless, easy and not to mention slimming! I got these accent boots from Zara and I am beyond happy with the buy. They’re heavy and can do some damage, but I’ll just keep them on my feet. The chains are great quality and I can see myself in these boots for a few years down the road. Black and silver will always be a favourite pairing of mine and throw on a oversized blazer – your look is complete!
